What makes us different
At Change Works, our charter is simple:
'We use our expertise in understanding human behaviour to drive awesome engagement at work.'
In every job there are two broad skill sets used:
- Technical skills - the stuff you do everyday
- Human skills - dealing with people
Change Works focuses on the latter skill set. It is often referred to as the ‘soft skills’, but we all know they are the hardest skills to get right.
It is this focus across our work which has seen us reach a return business figure nearing 100%, of which we are very proud. Our attention to building a strong relationship through exceeding, rather than meeting your expectations is a cornerstone of our service to you. We walk our own talk.
Combining the principles of positive psychology with thought leadership in the areas of communication, leadership, emotional intelligence and economics, our products and interventions are contemporary, unique and practical. Our programs deliver results! Whether it is inspiration through a keynote speech, instruction through a training program, guidance through coaching and mentoring, or information through our publications, we can help improve your human skills.
We believe wholeheartedly in the principle of ‘profit through value’, and as such we will do everything in our capability to ensure any work we provide for you is laden with value.
Warm regards

Testimonials
Read some testimonials from a few of our valued clients:
"If butchers paper and another round of artificial bonding games leave you cold you should think about talking to Change Works. Darren has been a partner in building our team from the ground up. His gift is to help people discover their values and strengths and to match these to their work. He does it plainly but without dumbing things down, engagingly but without gimmicks and has become the invisible but always silently present member of our team. I'd recommend Change Works to anyone."

"I thoroughly enjoyed Darren’s presentation. Great delivery, fantastic content, great humanity; one of the best new speakers I’ve heard in years. We look forward to working with you."

“As a person who does a lot of sales-related training and speaking I have read many books on courage and related areas such as resilience and persistence so when I started to read Courage as a Skill by Darren and Alison Hill I expected it would be a re-working of some very familiar concepts on this topic. However after I finished reading it I knew I was totally wrong. Darren and Alison have written a book that contains genuinely original content that is both inspiring and immediately applicable. The prose is concise and accessible, and the use of graphics, colours and pictures complements the text in a very effective way. Courage as a Skill is for those people who want genuine and practical insight from a book without the fluff, psycho-babble and self indulgence that is so common in the field of personal development writing.”

“I recently saw Darren completely 'steal the show' at the Thought Leaders Winter Showcase. His message about the helping hand of humanity is so critical and relevant to any organisation and he has a wonderfully unique combination of insight, intellect, compassion, straight-talking, humour and most importantly you can tell from his authentic delivery that he's a really great guy. The men in the audience wanted to be him and the girls wanted to marry him! I feel honoured to have had the chance to see him speak."

"Darren's presentation at our conference was nothing short of inspiring. Our audience at the conference were highly accomplished Managers, Directors and CEOs within the workers compensation industry. They can be a tough audience, but Darren completely captured them with his gutsy delivery, high energy and the undeniable truth of his message."

"As a thought leader in the area of humanity and courage in the world of work, Darren was able to pitch his presentation perfectly to a discerning management audience. Overall an excellent mix of theory to get you thinking, and practical insights for application in the workplace. Darren was easily one of the most approachable and down to earth speakers to deal with."

"Oh, my goodness – he blew me away. Appears very humble and very down to earth with some unbelievable messages. He is ‘real’ and his emotions touched me surprisingly deeply. Would highly recommend him for speaking events."
Elana Kohn
"I was fortunate to hear Darren Hill speak as the keynote speaker at the Australian Institute of Management awards ceremony in Brisbane on 13th November 2009.
I was immediately captivated by Darren’s warm, down to earth and engaging style of communication-but was absolutely inspired by the essence of Darren’s message on the night. Darren spoke from personal experience and academic approaches on the matter of humanity and how we have at our disposal within this matter one of the most powerful and influential factors that can be applied with outstanding results at the business, community and personal levels.
I came away from Darren’s address both inspired and determined to make a real difference to people within my sphere of influence-I look forward to hearing Darren speak again as his messages have never been more relevant than they are in today’s increasingly complex world."
